Urban Defects, 2004

These images reflect equally the utopias of modernity as the optimization of spatial economics of neo-liberal as a perversion. In this terms every space will be conducted by its values for income.

Urban defects are digitally constructed cityscapes in order to create a visuell metaphor of a megapolis. They are based on photographs of real cities, but are totally composed in order to alter the architectural density and their visible signs of use. These images are realized as type-c-prints mounted on aludibond, framed to a size of 120 x 150cm, edition of 3.

Urban defect #2, #5 and #7 are published as books showing the images in original size.
